One-chemical phosphating
system for pre-treatment of CRCA Sheets, and hot dipped/
electro-galvanized sheets, and Steel angles, channels, tubular
structures etc.
FERROGUARD applied on CRCA and other millscale-free
surfaces removes:
- Thin films of oil, grease and other
Superficial impurities;

Removes light-to-medium rust;
- Removes certain light
welding scales; and
- Forms a thin, complex phosphate
coating on the surface
- Firmly adherent to
and integral with the surface.
FERROGUARD
applied on
hot-dipped or electro-galvanized steel surfaces
- Removes
oils, soils and white rust, and
- Reacts with the Zinc metal and
converts it into a Phosphate Coating.
This phosphate coating forms an anchor for the
subsequent paint film and will not peel off; the surface will
stay painted. (paint applied directly on Zinc metal surface
will peel off soon like plantain skin.)
