DOMINATOR PLUS converts adamantly adhering rust into an organo-complex compound, resulting in the formation of a non-porous and moisture-repelling coating of good mechanical stability, abrasion resistance, bond strength and excellent anti-corrosive properties. This coating is a good base for the subsequent protective coat of paint.

DOMINATOR PLUS may be used by brushing method or by dip method, depending upon the dimension and contour of the components and number of pieces to be treated.

DOMINATOR PLUS finds extensive use in

LIGHT HOUSES STEEL BRIDGES STEEL PIPES
Steel Electricals Equipment generally exposed to severe corrosive environment Deck Frames, Modules and splash zones
Oil Refineries Marine Equipment & Installations Ship Building, and Repairing
Chemical and Petro-Chemical Industries Civil Engineering, Steel Re-inforcement Rods Electricity and Gas Power Stations

PROCESS:

  • Before treating with DOMINATOR PLUS, make sure that the surface is free from oils, grease etc.
  • Remove loosely adherent rust from the surface, using a wire brush.
  • Dip the components in a tank containing DOMINATOR PLUS.
In about 30 minutes or so, rust that was adamantly adhering to the surface would have been converted into a organo-complex compound, firmly adhering to the surface.

The surface on which DOMINATOR PLUS was applied should be kept away from water splashes or rain for about 24 hours after application. If the surface is subjected to water splash or rainfall, apply DOMINATOR PLUS again and preserve the surface from water splash or rainfall for 24 hours thereafter.

24 hours after application of DOMINATOR PLUS, rinse the treated surface with water to remove any un-reacted chemical, and allow to dry.

When the surface is thoroughly dry, you may apply paint: liquid paint or powder coating.
