CLASSICOAT removes thin films of oil; and rust from steel components; it comes of great help when you have to remove rust from -

Cold rolled sheet metal surfaces
Machined cast iron surfaces
Steel reinforcement rods used in civil engineering construction
Machinery which get rusted in use; etc. etc.

Machined surface of cast iron component was rusted; CLASSICOAT was applied by brush and allowed to remain for about 5 minutes. Then the residual chemical was wiped off. The surface was free from rust and had a phosphate coating, which protected the surface from corrosion for about 3 months in indoor storage on shop floor.
